We’re YaYa and Leen, the main characters in Sunbelievable.
Our Grandma started making picture books for us starting when we were born. Guess she couldn’t take enough photos – you know how grandparents can be with their cameras! Then she’d create pages with us doing really silly things, like in the one below. I’m riding on a blue moon while Jaleen swings from the Sun!!
Leen loves to pose, but I don’t. Leen does funny things that make me laugh. Whenever we dress up in play clothes, there’s Grandma snapping away. She catches me off guard when I’m laughing ear-to-ear.
Leen and I love making up stories together. In Sunbelievable, we say “It’s our favorite thing to do.” But we love a bunch of other stuff, too… like gymnastics I’m always standing on my head these days. Leen does cartwheels and sometimes knocks me over. Then there’s our little brother who knows just when to get into the action and mess everything up. But he’s so cute!
We all love to dance and sing. Leen has a really pretty voice. We both take piano and voice lessons, our favorite is probably gymnastics. My team won first place last weekend in a huge competition. I came in 3rd overall. That was awesome.
